What is Little Soccer Stars?
Little Soccer Stars focus is on providing a fun local network of informal yet professionally run training classes that use the game of soccer to instill confidence, coordination, control and a start to beginner social skills.
Who is the Director/instructors?
Sam Blair serves as the program director. He has been involved in soccer for 24 years and currently holds a USSF National ’D’ License and a USSF State ’F’ license. Sam played middle school and high school soocer at Greenwood Laboratory School and played college soccer at Drury University. He has worked with the Mini Kickers program at Lake Coutnry Soccer and continues to stay involved with youth clubs and the highest amatuer leagues in the country.
Instructors will be hand picked by the director as needed. All instructors will be individuals with soccer playing and/or coaching experience with an aptitude for working with young soccer players.
What are the benefits?
The primary benefit of the program is the individual instruction kids receive throughout the program. Sessions are limited to 8-10 kids per instructor so that each child can receive individual attention within the group setting. Most parents seek out this program apart from other soccer activities offered through other organizations because of the instructional component in addition to playing games.
Parents are invited to stay on site to observe sessions. It’s a great soccer and social activity for kids and parents alike.
What is the program cost?
$60 per session and the fee includes the "official" Little Soccer Stars Shirt, mini ball, and medals for Little Stars Cup during week 8.
What if I sign my child up and she/he doesn’t like the program?
You may withdraw your child from the program at any time. However, refunds will be prorated based on the number of sessions attended and minus the cost of the t-shirt and ball.
