Julio Reyes

Head Coach

 

Julio Reyes joins the Springfield Demize in his first full season as the Demize Head Coach.  Reyes took over as a player coach for the Demize during theProfessional Arena Soccer League and will now take full control of the Springfield Demize first team.  

Reyes has an extensive playing background, playing in different countries including his native Peru.  Reyes eventually came over the the United States to play for the Long Island Vipers.  Reyes also has an extensive coaching background, most notably receiving coaching education from Spanish giants Real Madrid.  Reyes holds his USSF B under US Soccer.

Armen Tonianse

Armen Tonianse has been a part of the Demize organization since day one and looks to be a key factor in the development of the franchise over the next few years.

"Armen is a tireless worker who is extremely dedicated to what we are trying to do," former Head Coach Logan Hoffman said. "He is a good motivator and helps set the tone with our players in terms of what we expect out of them." 

Prior to rejoining the Springfield coaching staff as an assistant last year, Tonianse had served as head coach of the Demize for two seasons, overseeing the organization’s most successful season to date in 2007 before stepping down following the 2008 campaign. Tonianse has also served as a member of the management staff and ownership group for the franchise throughout that time period.

Away from the Demize, Tonianse works as the Director of Coaching for the Fair Grove Soccer Academy and as a professional coach for Total Demize Soccer Club.

Tonianse also served as an assistant coach at NCAA-I Western Illinois from 2005-2007, the same school where he played from 2001-2005.

Maximo Reyes’ Impressive playing career spanned 16 years, former Peruvian National team player Maximo played for several professional teams in different countries, Peru, Venezuela Maximo has participated in Libertadores Cup on different occasions. Also he is an official assistant field coach for the Peruvian National team in USA. Maximo has intensive experience with youth and professional players he is USSF licensed. Maximo graduate as a Physical Education Teacher in University of  Merida Venezuela.
