The Demize PASL team exploded in the first half vs Tulsa Tornadoes last Saturday making there 7-2 halftime lead stand up, in spite of a second half surge from the Tornadoes to win the game 9-8. The Demize got their second win in front of a record setting crowd at the LCS soccer dome.
The Demize PASL indoor soccer team put together a solid game verse the Tulsa Tornadoes last Saturday making there 7-2 halftime lead stand up, in spite of a second half surge from the Tornadoes to win the game 9-8. The Demize came out with a purpose and netted 7 goals in the first half to the Tulsa Tornadoes 2. This was the largest lead the Demize had earned so far this season. With Desmond Williams and Kyler Moore leading the charge in the first half.
The Demize went into the second half confident about battling the Tornadoes who were hungry and looking to make a comeback. Tulsa was able to close the goal gap between the two teams. The Tornadoes had 3 unanswered goals in the third quater before the Demize were able to answer back.
Despite the goal differential in the second half going for the Tulsa Tornadoes, The Demize PASL was able to hold off the Tulsa Tornadoes in the end. This game was a fight for the whole 60 minutes. Desmond Williams led the Demize with 3 goals. Kyler Moore, Luis Santillan, Henrique Carvello, and Kaleb Romero all had goals as well. Joel Barroso had another stellar performance in net finishing with 10 saves on the night.
The Demize PASL was happy to get their second win in front of a record setting crowd at the LCS indoor soccer dome. The Demize PASL’s next game will be in Kansas City on Saturday February 11 verse The Barilleros who arein first place in the Midwest conference with an undefeated record of 4-0-1.
