Demize fall short in bid for MLSC Fall Super Cup championship
The Demize saw their bid to be crowned MLSC Fall Super Cup championships fall short after a hard fought game against the Chicago Mustangs in front of over five hundred fans and supporters. The final was settled in double overtime with the Demize facing elimination, down 2-1. Marcelo Hernandez scored a bicycle kick, off Jaxn Rogers free kick from the defensive third of the field. Marcelo chested the 60 yard bomb and from outside the 18 yard box scored the bicycle,in the 120th minute of overtime. Unfortunately the game would not be destined to be determined in penalty kicks because the goal would be disallowed because it was called back for offsides. The Demize NPSL will be back in MLSC action this in March when the Spring Super Cup competition begins.
