Introducing the 2019-2020 PASL Staff

Demize opens up the 2019-2020 PASL season this Saturday and is proud to announce a strong staff with new and returning faces.
Chris Hanlon, the founder and owner of Demize Soccer, serves as the Director of Soccer Operations. Chris played professionally both outdoor and indoor and founded Springfield's first PDL club at the age of 26. He brings over 30 years of coaching experience.
Head Coach Guilherme Ferreira takes on his first PASL season after helping push the NPSL side to their first playoff appearance this past summer and the Heartland Conference final. He also serves as a youth academy pro coach. Guilherme holds 5 English FA Coaching licenses and has over 16 years of coaching experience in Brazil, America, Italy, and England.
Tim Murphy joins the staff as a native of Springfield and the founder of Southern Missouri Soccer Academy. He helped with the NPSL side in the 2019 season. Tim also runs his own business, T and C Bautrager.
Matt Novak will serve as the general manager. He played collegiately for CMU and Evangel and has worked for Demize for 2 years now. Matt is also the head coach of Fair Grove High School.
Thomas Bledsoe takes on the role of goalkeeper coach. He is a native of Kansas City and serves as an assistant coach for Southwest Baptist where he previously played.
Chuck Cowan joins the PASL staff after coaching Lady Demize teams for the past 5 years. His son Mason played for the academy and his daughter Charlie plays for Lady Demize. Chuck currently helps coach the high school girls teams and is also the fire chief of the Springfield airport.
Ben Brixey joins the staff as a performance analyst for Demize PASL this season. He made a final four appearance with Glendale High School before attending MSU. Ben also played for one of the first ever Demize boys teams. Ben Brixey is currently the head coach for Lady Demize u9, u11, and u12.
