Former Drury Panther and Demize goalkeeper (2007) returns to the line-up and makes an immediate impact.  Cesar Cereijo backstopped the Demize to their first win this season, making eight saves in his side’s 2-0 defeat of Kansas City on Thursday, June 11. Two days later, Cereijo made three saves and earned another shutout in Springfield’s 1-0 victory over Rochester.  Micah Whorton also recieved Honorable mention for his efforts with 2 goals and 1 assist, including the gamewinner against Rochester June 13.  The Demize are looking to continue their winning streak this weekend with two games against the STL Lions during a home and then away series that kicks off Thursday night at Cooper Stadium 7:30 pm and concludes in Saint Loius, the following Saturday.
