Four Demize Academy high school seniors have recently signed to play college soccer and receive athletic scholarships to continue their soccer careers at the collegiate level.

Andres Melendez from Branson High school was just the second high school boy to ever receive all-state honors in his senior season.  Andres will be donning the purple and white for the SBU Bearcats (Southwest Baptist University) this fall.  Andres choose the Bearcats to be able to play locally and be a part of rebuilding the mens soccer program under the direction of the mens new head coach Nick Petite.

AJ Goss is another senior graduating from Branson and is headed to Indian Hills College in Iowa after deciding between Baker University and Indian Hills. AJ believes he can be in impact player as a freshman and wants to compete for a starting position.

Austin Epperson from Catholic High school just signed with Avilla University in Kansas City. "Austin has been a big part of the Demize academies high school boys program and our coaching staff is very proud that we are able to consistently send our high school players on to play at the collegiate level every year and continue to be a pathway for youth players on both the boys and girls side to develop both on and off the field", stated Chris Hanlon.

Dani Cole from Rogersville High School graduated in 2015 and recieved a scholarship to play at Neosho College but when the girls program fell apart she returned as a U19 player this past fall and winter to continue to fine tune her skills while looking for a new college to call home.  Dani signed to play at Butler County Community College, a nationally ranked top ten junior college where she is currently attending and playing. Dani's mother's thoughts are below concerning Dani's experince with the Demize over the last five years:

Hi Chris,

Dani  has signed to play with Butler County Community College in El Dorado, Ks.  BCCC is ranked No. 6 and recently won the Kansas Jayhawk Conference by defeating Johnson County 5 – 0.  I just want to thank you and your staff for the opportunity, guidance, confidence and drive that you have gave Dani to develop her skills and mental game to where it is today.

Dani has worked hard to accomplish her goal and she is not stopping here, Springfield Demize Academy was a big of part of her training and we are so appreciative of that.

Once again I want to say a big Thanks to ALL of  you!
