TOTAL DEMIZE SOCCER ACADEMY
The Total Demize Soccer Academy (TDSA) has members of both pre-school and early elementary school boys and girls ages 5 - 9. The training model that these boys and girls are participating in consists of one or two practices a week based on specific ages group. Both Staff Coaches and Professional coaches with extensive playing experiences and national coaching licensing from either the NSCAA or the USSF coaching organizations will conduct the practices throughout the year in conjunction with Parent Coaches. TDSA will focus on developing both motor skills and coordination into our practice with a focus on individual foot skills. Lots of fun soccer oriented games will also expose our Academy players to soccer in a fun way that will help to nurture their love for the game.
There are two different programs for TDSA:
- 10 Month Session (Fall/ Winter/ Spring)
TOTAL DEMIZE SC LEAGUE TEAMS
This program is for ages 9 and up; League teams compete locally in the Springfield area and will participate in league play at Lake Country Soccer in the Fall and in the Spring. Winter indoor soccer is optional. Teams will practice twice a week. Players are expected to make both training sessions a week. Players must arrive at least 30 minutes before League matches dressed and ready to play. This program is designed to introduce individuals and teams to competitive club soccer. Two local tournaments a season are encouraged, but participation is up to the parents of each Demize TSC League team and additional costs apply. Professional coaches with both extensive playing experience and a national coaching license from either the NSCAA or the USSF coaching organizations will conduct the practice sessions throughout the year. This program will introduce team tactics and shape, proper positioning, ball skills, fitness and will help lay the foundation for each player and their team to be competitive in Southwest Missouri.
TOTAL DEMIZE SC COMPETITIVE TEAMS
This program is designed for teams ages 11 and up. The competitive program focuses on preparing club members for both high school and collegiate levels of soccer. Teams will travel to tournaments in the Midwest Region during the Club year. This includes participation in one of the State Cup tournaments and potential League play outside the Springfield area. Teams will practice between 4 – 6 hours a week with additional local exhibition games as they are scheduled by the Coaching Staff. Players are expected to be at ALL. Being excused from practice will be communicated and validated by the Coaching Staff and/or team manager. Players are required to arrive 30 minutes before each game dressed and ready to play, whether it is a league or tournament match. Competitive teams will play year round including Winter Futsal.
There are two different Total Demize SC Competitive programs based upon age:
- 11-Month Program
- 9- Month program {High School Ages 15-17}
